Breast and ovarian cancer have hit too many of our friends and family members. Each year, over 2.3 million women are diagnosed with ovarian and breast cancer worldwide.
While they were real and they were magnificent, our breasts tried to kill us. Karen, Tammy and I were lucky and can say we are SURVIVORS. Yet women diagnosed with ovarian cancer face the deadliest gynecological cancer.
Please join Karen, Tammy and me on Sunday, July 16th at 8am in person at Seward Park in Seattle, for the 30TH ANNUAL SummeRun & Walk for Ovarian Cancer. It’s a 5K run and walk with more than 2,000 participants who join together to raise awareness and raise funds to support ovarian cancer research and ovarian and breast health education through the Rivkin Center, a local 501c3 based in Seattle, WA.
In 2022, our team raised $25,000 for this important cause. We hope to do as well, or better, this year! Register to join us on July 16th, or if you are unable to attend, donate to our team, Breasties for a Cure!
Here are two ways that you can help us get one step closer to a cure for ovarian cancer:
