Welcome to My Personal Page

Our first SummeRun in 2006
Welcome Friends,
Many of you know that the SummeRun & Walk is an annual event for me that is deeply personal for 2 reasons:
1) My dear friend, Mary Anne, passed away in 2009 after battling ovarian cancer for 5 years.
2) My maternal grandmother died from this disease over 57 years ago.
We still do not have an early detection test for ovarian cancer! Please educate the women in your lives about the signs and symptoms: https://rivkin.org/ovarian-cancer/.
Proceeds from the run and walk will support the life-saving work of the Rivkin Center. The Rivkin Center is a Seattle-based non-profit that works to improve women’s health by helping them prevent, detect early, and survive ovarian and breast cancer. They do this by investing in cutting-edge research to prevent, detect, and cure ovarian cancer, a deadly and under-funded disease, educating women to prevent and detect ovarian and breast cancer as early as possible, and fostering an ever-growing community of survivors, patients, researchers, clinicians, advocates, and supporters.
Here are two ways that you can help us get one step closer to a cure for ovarian cancer:
1. Virtually participate in the event with me and give hope to those undergoing treatment.
2. Help me reach my fundraising goal by making a donation. Click on the "DONATE NOW" button to the right to show your support!
I'd be so grateful if you would join or sponsor me. Together, we can end ovarian cancer.
Do not forget to check out the amazing work done by the Rivkin Center - www.rivkin.org.
Thank You!
